Mizzou senior pitcher Chelsea Thomas was named an All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association,for the third time in her career. She ends her collegiate career as Mizzou’s winningest pitcher with 111 wins and 31 losses. This season she was 24-6 this year with a 1.16 ERA. She was named the SEC Pitcher of the Year. The previous two seasons she was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Year.
The Women’s College World Series starts today, and Mizzou came up shorts, getting swept, 2-0, by Washington in last weekend’s Super Regionals in Columbia.
