Missouri Western held on for a 9-3 victory over Central Oklahoma in the second round of the MIAA Tournament, in Kansas City. The Griffons jumped on top getting six runs through the first three innings.  At the plate for the Griffons Michael Schulze was three for five with two runs scored and an RBI. Bubba Dotson went one for six, but his one hit was a three-run home run.

Missouri Southern got a six hit shutout as they earned a 9-0 win over Pittsburg State. The Lions put up six runs in the seven inning as the earned the first round victory.

Missouri Southern will face Missouri Western tomorrow at 11 a.m. while Pittsburg State faces Central Oklahoma tonight at 6:15 p.m.
