T.J. Moe fights for extra yards in a game last season against Florida.

Despite being undrafted, fan favorite T.J. Moe of the Missouri Tigers signed a free agent contract with the New England Patriots late Saturday. The Patriots have also added left tackle Elvis Fisher as a free agent.

Moe only finished with one touchdown catch last season, but was second on the team with 40 catches and 399 yards. Moe will play slot receiver in the NFL, and could also be a trusted punt returner or holder on field goals and PATs.  Moe was one of the top finishers in every category except the 40 yard dash at the NFL Combine.

Fisher, when healthy, was a major reason Missouri quarterbacks had success in one of the nation’s most prolific offenses. Prior to his rash of injuries, Fisher had played in every game for Mizzou over three seasons since he won in pre-season camp as a true freshman
