A new movie about baseball star Jackie Robinson is set to debut nationally April 12th. But it will be shown in Kansas City a day early as a benefit for the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. When Brooklyn Dodgers General Manager Branch Rickey signed Robinson to break baseball’s color line, Robinson was a member of the Kansas City Monarchs. The actor who plays Rickey in the movie will headline the special showing in Kansas City—that would be Harrison Ford.
