Laurence Bowers had 24 points and 11 rebounds in his final home game, in what turned out to be a rough return for former Mizzou coach Mike Anderson. The Tigers beat the Arkansas Razorbacks 93-63 to finish the home portion of their schedule 17-0. Jabari Brown added 23 points for the Tigers (22-8-11-6 SEC) who shot 58%. Bowers was 10 of 13 from the field and Brown 6 of 12. Along with Bowers, the other holdover from the Anderson era, Phil Pressey, finished with eight points and six assists.

Bowers scored Missouri’s first five points, then Arkansas went on a 7-0 run to grab a two point lead just over four minutes into the game. From there, the Tigers took over and completely dominated the rest of the half leading 48-22 at the break.

After the game, Bowers and Frank Haith would not comment much on the return of Anderson, but the former Mizzou coach took time to answer several questions about his return.  Anderson reminded everyone of what has been built at Missouri, much because of his own doing. However, he was also complimentary of the job Haith has done and tried to dance around the topic of how the fans treated him.
