The Los Angeles Kings continue to have the Blues’ number. The team that bounced St. Louis out of the playoffs last year roared back from a three goal deficit to win 6-4 Tuesday night.

The Blues were up 4-1 just over six minutes into the second period and led 4-2 going into the third, before Mike Richards, Jake Muzzin and Jeff Carter scored on L.A.’s first seven shots.

Richards scored from the slot at 1:33. Muzzin slipped a shot past Jaroslav Halak on the glove side at 2:32 for his second of the night. Carter’s game-winner was a wrist shot from the left circle at 6:09 that ended Halak’s night.

Anze Kopitar added another off Brian Elliott with just over five minutes to go. According to NHL.com, St. Louis recalled Jake Allen from Peoria of the American Hockey League.

Including last year’s sweep in the Western Conference semifinals, the Blues have now lost seven straight games.
