With two games remaining in the regular season, Saint Louis (23-5, 12-2 Atlantic 10) holds a one-game lead over Virginia Commonwealth.
The Billikens twice built eight-point leads in the first half, but George Washington rallied, grabbing a 48-45 lead with 7:17 to play. Saint Louis then went on another 7-0 run to build a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. The Billikens made 21 of 24 from the free throw line.
