The Mizzou women celebrate a basket made by Bri Kulas. Mizzou Athletics

Bri Kulas had 26 points and 12 rebounds as the Missouri women knocked off 14th ranked South Carolina 65-58 Thursday night at Mizzou Arena on Senior Night. The Tigers are 14-4 at home this season with wins over two ranked opponents (80-63 win over then-9th Tennessee on Feb. 3).

Missouri, which has made a school-record 240 three-pointers this season, beat the Gamecocks much the same way the men took care of business in Columbia, SC…winning in the paint. The Tigers outscored South Carolina 34-14 in the paint and were just 3 of 7 on three-pointers.

Mizzou shot 53.5% and never trailed in a game. Its biggest lead was eight points when Kulas converted a three-point play with 52 seconds remaining.

The Tigers wrap up the regular season on Sunday with a game at Alabama.  Tip-off is 2 p.m. CT.
