The Chiefs signed three players to their roster. All were backups with previous NFL teams, starting with defensive end Marcus Dixon, tight end Kevin Brock and wide receiver Mardy Gilyard.

Dixon, 6’4, 295, played in 22 games and started four over three seasons for the New York Jets. The 6-5, 249-pound Brock played in two games for the Buffalo Bills in 2011, catching two passes for 27 yards. The 5-11, 194-pound Gilyard has played in 19 games and caught eight passes in two NFL seasons with the Rams, Eagles and the Jets.

Gilyard played in six games last season for the Eagles under Andy Reid.
