February 11, 2013 By Bill Pollock

Mizzou Football fans interested in recruiting can attend events that are planned in Kansas City, Columbia, St. Louis and Springfield which will include appearances by the Mizzou coaching staff.

The tour gets underway Tuesday, Feb. 12th with the annual Tiger Club of Kansas City event, held at the Holiday Inn CoCo Key (across from Kauffman Stadium). A private sponsor dinner and reception begins at 5 p.m., while the public fan reception with Mizzou’s coaches gets underway at 6 p.m. That will be followed by a program at 7 p.m. where the club hands out awards and the MU coaches review video of the 20 standouts who signed with Mizzou last week. The event is free to KC Tiger Club members, and is only $5 for non-members. For information on sponsor benefits and opportunities, contact Mark Cox at 913-220-9687 or e-mail [email protected] Visit the KC Tiger Club website at www.kctigerclub.com.

The next day receptions will take place in Columbia and St. Louis on Wednesday, Feb. 13th. The day starts in Columbia with the Tiger QB Club luncheon at the Peachtree Catering & Banquet Center. Doors open at 11 a.m., with the program starting around 11:50 a.m. Lunch is $10 for members and $18 for guests. For more information, visit the club online at www.tigerqbclub.com.

Later that evening, the coaches hit the road again, for the annual Mizzou Tiger Club of St. Louis recruiting event in St. Louis, to be held at the Edward Jones Building near I-270 and Manchester. A private dinner is set for 5 p.m., with a public social hour beginning at 5:30 p.m. The festivities will move to the auditorium at 7 p.m. for the review of video by Tiger coaches. For reservations on the private dinner, contact Curt Sawyer at [email protected] or call 636-530-3696. The public portion of the evening is $5 at the door, with 19 and under free. The final event, hosted by the Tiger Club of Springfield, is set for Thursday, Feb. 21st at the White River Conference Center in Springfield (part of the Bass Pro Shops campus). A special VIP opportunity will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the public reception slated for 6:30.
