The St. Louis Blues got a third period goal from Alex Pietrangelo and shootout goals from T.J. Oshie and Alex Steen to complete a rally and win at Nashvile, 4-3, on Monday.  Blues rookie Victor Tarasenko has scored three goals and has five points in his first two games, becoming the first Blues rookie since Bernie Federko to accomplish that feat.

Oshie beat Rinne with a backhand attempt after Elliott, who came on in relief of Jaroslav Halak, made a glove stop on Craig Smith. Then Elliott stopped Erat and Steen ended it by sliding a backhand home.  Pietrangelo tied the game 3-3 it in the third, combining on a play with Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz, as Pietrangelo beat Pekka Rinne from a tough angle at 12:10.

Coach Ken Hitchcock put Brian Elliot in the game around the eight minute mark of the second after Jaroslav Halak gave up a power play goal to make it 3-2 Nashville. Elliot stopped all 13 shots for the win.

The Blues improve to 2-0 and play at Chicago on Tuesday night in the Blackhawks home opener. The Hawks are 2-0 after road wins in L.A. and Phoenix. Chicago has scored 11 goals in the first two games.
