Since Steven Jackson became a starting running back for the Rams in 2005, in which he’s never had a winning record, he has surpassed 1,000 yards rushing for seven straight seasons. The Rams have two games to play and Jackson is just 91 yards away from making it eight seasons of 1,000 or more yards, something only five other players have managed in NFL history.

That list includes, Emmitt Smith (11), Barry Sanders, Curtis Martin (10), Thurman Thomas and LaDainian Tomlinson (8) as the only players to rush for 1,000 in eight or more consecutive seasons.

While Adrian Peterson stole the headlines with his big rushing day in the Vikings win over the Rams, Jackson reached 10,000 career rushing yards, a feat only 27 players have done all-time, but just 15 have achieved with one club.
