Highway Patrol searching for missing teenager (PHOTO)

The Laclede County Sheriff’s Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident stemming from the Southwest Missouri town of Lebanon.

The Highway Patrol says 16-year-old Elissa G. Levy left a note stating that she was going to drown herself in the Gasconade River or travel to St. Louis.

She is a white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 100 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and black plastic frame glasses with blue ear pieces.

Police say she was last seen wearing black clothing, a long black wool coat, and has a red and gray flannel backpack.

Authorities are asking anyone who sees her or has any anformation to call 911, contact the nearest law enforcement agency, or call the Laclede County Sheriff’s Department at (417) 532-2311.
