The boyfriend of a woman who is accused of imprisoning her 10-year-old malnourished daughter in a closet, pleaded guilty on Friday to child endangerment and was sentenced to five years probation. Marcus R. Benson, 34, of Kansas City, was charged in July after authorities found the girl in an apartment. The girl weighed 32 pounds, less than half the average weight for her age. Police later arrested the girl’s mother, Jacole Prince, and took her other two daughters into custody.
