Attorney General Chris Koster and other attorneys general have entered a settlement with three U.S. publishers on allegations of price fixing on electronic books.
Koster says the three publishers illegally conspired to raise e-book prices. Hachette Book Group, HarperCollins Publishers and Simon & Schuster, Inc, agreed to pay more than 69 million dollars. About 1.1 million of that will go to Missouri consumers.
