The question of whether an adult-themed store in the Jefferson County town of Pevely should stay in business has come before a federal judge. Owners call Pure Pleasure Boutique a “novelty shop”; despite that, the city denied the store a business license two years ago. Earlier, they received a judge’s order allowing them to open the store.
