Crash near Edward Jones Dome ends chase

A woman who led police on a chase with five children in her vehicle is in custody. The chase ended with a crash near the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.

Police say the driver and another woman are in custody. A pedestrian who was struck during the chase is in an area hospital. Authorities say the driver also nearly hit the cruiser of the police officer that responded to the initial call.

The chase began with a shoplifting incident at a Family Dollar store.
