A Neosho purse-snatcher has been sentenced to five days of shock time in jail and five years of probation.
The sentence is for Jessica Oliver, who took the purse away from a 72-year-old woman in the parking lot of a Joplin mall. Oliver pleaded guilty to an assault charge because the women whose purse she took fell and injured her neck, back, and hand.
