Lindenwood 28, Glenville State 24

Lindenwood scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to come from 24-7 down to pull out a 28-24 victory. With 6:00 to play in the fourth quarter the Lions trailed by two scored, but scored twice in three minutes to earn the win.

Denodus O’Bryant carried the ball 16 times for 72 yards and a game high three touchdowns. Ben Gomez was 21 of 37 through the air for 287 yards. Pierre Desir added 11 tackles and one interception.

Northwest Missouri 37, Nebraska-Kearney 13

Northwest Missouri took advantage of three UNK fumbles to earn a 37-13 road victory. Todd Adolf hit three field goals and NWMSU went two for two in the red one as they picked up the win.

For NWMSU Brady Bolles threw for 112 yards and a touchdown while Tyler Seals threw for 111 yards and a score. Bolles also added 85 yards on the ground and a touchdown. For UNK playing without their starting quarterback Matt Berry was 18 of 29 for 163 yards and one touchdown. Tommy Flanagan carried the ball 20 times for 69 yards.

Southwest Baptist 16, Missouri Southern 13

In a game that saw less than 600 yards of total offense Southwest Baptist used a late score to pull out a 16-13 win on the road at Missouri Southern. The Bearcats picked up their first win of the season against the undefeated Lions as they scored with 6:32 remaining in the game.

For SBU Dan Conner threw for 193 yards and a touchdown while Robert McWright rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown. John Colliver hit a 33 yard field goal with four seconds remaining in the first half that would prove to be the difference. For the Lions Kellen Cox rushed for 116 yards and one touchdown. Ne’Ront Threatt had a 40-yard punt return for a touchdown in the third quarter.

Missouri Western 21, Fort Hays State 3

Missouri Western took a 14-3 lead into halftime and that is all they would need on the way to a 21-3 victory on the road. MWSU racked up 427 yards of total offense, but scored only three times and held FHSU to 270 total yards.

For MWSU Michael Hill ran 26 times for 198 yards while Travis Partridge ran for 23 yards and a score. Partridge was 13 of 24 through the air 163 yards and two touchdowns. For the Tigers Tarean Austin was 17 of 30 for 112 yards through the air while Addie Brown rushed 11 times for 87 yards. Kedron Paul had five tackles and had an interception.

Pittsburg State 59, Lincoln 17

The #1 PSU Gorillas racked up 35 points in the first quarter and 56 total points in the first half as they defeated Lincoln 59-17 at home. PSU forced three turnovers and racked up 418 yards of total offense.

For PSU Anthony Abenoja was five of six for 116 yards and a touchdown. Briceton Wilson ran the ball seven times for 69 yards and three touchdowns. For Lincoln Jacob Morris threw for 119 yards and a touchdown and he rushed for an additional 73 yards.
