Major Wright returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown, and the Chicago defense held the Rams to 160 yards and sacked Sam Bradford six times in a 23-6 loss to the Bears at Soldier Field.

The turning point in the game came on Wright’s pick. The Bears kicked a field goal to extend their lead to 13-6 in the fourth quarter. Bradford had his pass, intended for Danny Amendola, deflected by Tim Jennings into the arms of Wright. Wright caught the ball at the 45 and ran untouched to the end zone, making it a 14-point game and giving the Bears some breathing room.

Steven Jackson managed just 29 yards rushing after missing most of the Washington game with a groin injury and sitting out practice during the week.   Amendola had five catches for 55 yards after tying a club record with 15 catches for 160 yards the week before.  The only Rams offense came from former Missouri Western kicker Greg Zuerlein who hit from 56 and 46 yards, which cut a 10-0 deficit to 10-6 with 6:14 to play in the third.
