Missouri’s largest school district wants to be state accredited again. A special administrative board of the St. Louis district is petitioning the state to give the now-unaccredited district a provisional accreditation.
The board says the district has met half of the 14 performance standards necessary for accreditation. The district’s performance in math and communications arts, however, remain well below state standards.
