Columbia College soccer gets first win in program history

The Columbia Cougar women’s soccer team beat Benedictine University of Springfield, IL., by a score of 11-1. The Cougars picked up their first win the in program history since adding the program this fall.

The Cougars led 7-0 at halftime. Natausha Sanchez, Amanda Caldwell (two goals), Elise Castellanos, Stephanie Hale, Rylee Bruhn and Taylor Goddard scored goals in that first half.  Mackenzie Booth, Kelly McCreary, Kelli Westhues and Kelly Ross added the second half goals. Erica Ramirez got her first start in goal, taking the win.
