Injuries mounting for Mizzou’s offense

August 13, 2012 By Bill Pollock

The Missouri Tigers were back on the field Monday morning, following Saturday’s scrimmage and more injuries have hit the offense. However, while some players are new to the list, others appear to be getting to closer to be cleared.

Receivers L’Damian Washington (bruised shoulder) and Jimmie Hunt (sprained foot) did not practice Monday, and a timetable for their return isn’t known yet. WR Rolandis Woodland also sat out with a knee injury, as well. Freshman RB Russell Hansbrough practiced for the first time in fall camp. Hansbrough, and DT Lucas Vincent got his first practice in after missing camp prior to today with a torn pectoral muscle. WR T.J. Moe (hamstring), OL Justin Britt (foot) and TE Eric Waters(knee) all practiced in limited fashion, as they have all camp but are doing more work.

Following a light Monday afternoon workout, the Tigers will hold a single session in full pads Tuesday morning, followed by a double-session Wednesday, leading up to the second major scrimmage of fall camp on Thursday morning.
