The Queen of the Missouri State Fair is Emily Wood of Palmyra. She will reign over the Fair and be its ambassador for the coming year.
Wood is a student at Moberly Area Community College and receives a 1,500 dollar scholarship along with her crown.
The Fair continues through August 19 on the grounds in Sedalia.
