Mizzou fans scoop up season tix in record numbers

August 7, 2012 By Bill Pollock

Tiger Nation is ready for the SEC! Less than a month away from kicking off the inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference, Mizzou fans have shown their support by purchasing over 45,000 season tickets and passing the goal set by the Mizzou Athletic Department. The previous season ticket high, on record, was in 2008 when fans purchased 41,413. Last season, 39,879 season tickets were sold.

The Mizzou Ticket Office estimates approximately 300 public season ticket locations and around 600 Football-Only student tickets remain. Single game tickets for the three non-conference home games are currently available for purchase online, by phone at 1-800-CAT PAWS or 884-7297, or at the Mizzou Ticket Office.
