Can the Royals get on a roll?

August 2, 2012 By Bill Pollock

The Royals went over a month without winning consecutive games, but the Royals made it two in a row over Cleveland with a 5-2 win Wednesday night. The Royals scored four in the first two innings to back Luis Mendoza who picked up the win. The Royals, who have the worst record in the American League (42-61), won consecutive games for the first time since June 27-29.
