Man convicted in 2011 shooting death of his landlord

A jury recommends a 13-year prison sentence for a Stella man it says shot his landlord last year.

61-year-old Danny Thomas has been found guilty of second degree murder for the fatal shooting of 58-year-old Darrell Bone. The jury recommends another 3 years in prison for armed criminal action.

Sentencing is set for October 1.
