Chiefs cornerback Donald Washington was arrested Thursday in Effingham, IL after Illinois state troopers pulled him over for doing 86 in a 65 mph zone on an interstate. Washington was then charged with driving under the influence of drugs, marijuana possession, driving on a suspended license and speeding, all misdemeanor charges, according to the Effingham Daily News.

The 25 year old Washington was pulled over on Interstate 70 about five miles west of Effingham, which is about 100 miles east of St. Louis. Bond was set at $20,000 and Washington posted bail after his court appearance.

Donald played in 12 games last year, starting three and finished with 25 total tackles and a forced fumble.
