Nurski runs away with Missouri golf title

July 19, 2012 By Bill Pollock

Brad Nurski of St. Joseph shot 71/71 on the final 36 holes to capture the Missouri Golf Association’s Stroke Play Championship at Jefferson City Country Club on Wednesday. Nurski finished 11 under par, 11 shots better than second place finisher Nick Wilson of Columbia. Nurski has certainly established himself as a top amateur in the state winning titles in 2011 and 2010.

The Missouri Open is the 26th-28th at Old Hawthorne in Columbia.
