Nurski leads Mo. Stroke Play Championship

Brad Nurski of St. Joseph shot a 66 to follow up his opening round 69 to take a five shot lead over Columbia’s Nick Wilson after the second round of the Missouri Stroke Play Golf Championship at Jefferson City Country Club. 54 golfers made the cut for Wednesday’s final 36 holes.  Nurski was tied with Wilson and Steve Groom of Raytown after Monday’s round. Groom shot a 76 and is ten shots off the lead. Former Missouri Tiger quarterback Kirk Farmer is six strokes back and in third place after shooting 70-71 his first two rounds.
