AB Inbev finalizes billion-dollar buyout

July 7, 2012 By admin

The deal will be completed that makes AB Inbev, the world’s largest beer-maker, even bigger and will mean that more than half of all beer sold in this country comes from that company. AB Inbev is spending $20 billion to buy the part of Mexico brewer Grupo Modelo that it does not already own. Grupo Modelo makes Corona, Modelo Especial, and Victoria. AB Inbev will be producing more beer than its two closest rivals SAB Miller and Heineken combined.
