Major League Baseball released updated Final Vote standings and David Freese leads the National League ahead of Washington’s Bryce Harper, Atlanta’s Michael Bourn and Arizona’s Aaron Hill. Atlanta’s Chipper Jones was the early Final Vote leader but was removed when, thanks to Freese’s former manager, Tony La Russa selected him to replace Matt Kemp on the NL roster.

Royals closer Jonathan Broxton moved into fourth place ahead of Angels’ Ernesto Frieri, but trails fellow AL pitchers Yu Darvish (Rangers), Jake Peavy (White Sox) and Jason Hammel (Orioles).

The voting ends today (Thr. 7/5) at 3 p.m. Central.
