Missouri girls 12 shots off lead at Four State Golf Championship

June 28, 2012 By Bill Pollock

Missouri shot a team total of 312 today led by Missouri Junior Champion Jordan Chael of Overland Park who aced the par three second hole at Sedalia Country Club. Chael finished with a 70, trailing Iowa’s Jessie Sindlinger of Charles City’s three under 67 for the individual medalist title. Haley Thiele of Wahoo, Nebraska shot a 68.  Two day totals of team scores determines the state winner and two day low individual score determines medalist for the Championship.

Iowa and Nebraska are tied for first with 300 points, Missouri has 312 points, and Kansas is in fourth place with 329 points. Round Two started at 8:00 a.m. at the Sedalia Country Club.
