Springfield sex offender disappears after being accidentally released

June 27, 2012 By admin

A lot of people are blaming each other for the mistaken release of a Springfield man facing 19 child sexual assault charges. Nobody, not even his lawyer, knows what has happened to Antonio Alburquerque, who had talked openly about taking off for Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic if he had the chance. The charges against him say he abused a minor several times from late 1992 to late 1994. He’s been gone since June 18th.
