On-Duty Deputy fired for being intoxicated

A Miller County deputy has been fired after he crashed his patrol car and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. 29-year-old Paul Hill was responding to a call when the crash happened. The Highway Patrol took him into custody on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs and possession of meth and paraphernalia. He has since been formally charged with possession of meth and fired from the Miller County Sheriff’s Department.
