Mo Supreme Court to hear cases regarding ballot language.

The State Supreme Court will hear six cases Monday challenging the ballot language voters would see if several initiative petitions submitted to the Secretary of State have enough signatures to reach the November ballot. The topics of those petitions include raising the state sales tax on cigarettes, an amendment to increase minimum wage to $8.25 an hour and a proposal to regulate the interest rates charged by payday loan institutions.
