Cardinals’ Garcia’s shoulder examined for a possible injury

June 7, 2012 By Bill Pollock

It is doubtful Cardinals starter Jaime Garcia will make his next scheduled start after he left Houston and returned to St. Louis on Wednesday morning to have his left shoulder examined for a possible injury. The results of exams and tests will determine if Garcia will go on the disabled list.  Garcia missed his scheduled start last Friday with what was described as a sore elbow. Garcia struggled in his start at Houston, giving up six runs in his shortest outing of the season.
