Belton woman charged in fatal overdose

May 30, 2012 By admin

The death of a 16-year old girl from a drug overdose at a Grandview motel is becoming more complicated. A Belton woman is charged with providing the Xanax that killed Amber Cannon last year. A manslaughter charge says Glenda Stevens sold the drug to the girl. Amber Cannon was married to a 21-year old soldier, Justin Cannon who is charged in South-west Missouri’s St. Clair county with murdering a 24-year old man he thought was having sex with his young wife.
