St. Louis getting Lingerie Football League franchise

St. Louis television station KSDK first reported that the The Lingerie Football League is expanding and bringing a franchise to St. Louis. The team will play in the St. Charles Family Arena for the 2013 season. Girls will have a chance to tryout for the St. Louis team on Sunday June 17.

The St. Louis squad will compete in the Eastern Conference against the Baltimore Charm, the Cleveland Crush, the Philadelphia Passion, the Tampa Breeze and also a yet to be named expansion team from Omaha.

The league is asking fans to submit suggestions for team names via email.
