The Cardinals complete their first three game sweep of the season beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-2. The Cardinals scored four runs in the ninth inning to salt the game with a two out rally in the ninth. Rafael Furcal and Carlos Beltran singled, Matt Holliday hit an RBI double off the center-field wall, and Allen Craig hit his third home run. Kyle Lohse improves to 5-1 as the Cards won their fourth straight.

Arizona made it interesting in the ninth. They loaded the bases on three straight singles leading off the ninth against Mitchell Boggs, but Jason Motte came on and retired the side on a strikeout and a double play for his sixth save.
