World’s largest Chess piece unveiled in St Louis

It’s a chess piece it would take a football team to move. A King that according to Guinness World Records is the largest chess piece in the world has been unveiled in St. Louis. The piece is part of the World Chess Hall of Fame’s effort to make St. Louis the chess hub of the U.S. Made of plywood, it stands 14 feet, 6 inches tall and is 6 feet across at the base and weighs more than 2,200. It’s top speed is one square per turn.
