The losses continue to mount for the Royals who continue to stumble out of the gate losing 4-1 on Monday night to Toronto as the Blue Jays finished off a four game sweep sending the Royals on the road, after coming up with a winless homestand. The loss was the Royals 11th inĀ  a row.

Jose Bautista hit a two-run homer, and Kelly Johnson also went deep, as pitcher Brandon Morrow (1-1) took care of the struggling Kansas City lineup. The righty allowed seven hits and a walk in 6 2-3 innings, and Luis Perez and Francisco Cordero finished it off.

Eric Hosmer scored the Royals’ only run with a homer leading off the second inning. Bruce Chen fell to 0-2 with his only mistakes coming against Bautista and Johnson, and that was the difference.
