Missing pregnant teen case turns into missing infant case

April 24, 2012 By Jessica Machetta

Nevada police have found a missing teen who was pregnant, but she’s not pregant anymore and there’s no trace of an infant. Cass County authorities say the 17-year-old was last seen by her roommate a week ago … and that a text message sent to family and friends indicates she may have given birth but the child did not survive. The girl is in custody now but will not provide any information about a baby. Interviews with her boyfriend have also turned up nothing.
