April 23, 2012 By Jessica Machetta

A rollover wreck in Maryland Heights last Tuesday has claimed a second life. St. Peters resident 17-year-old Natasha Galenski has died in a hospital. Another passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The St. Charles man who was driving the car has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and drunk driving.

John Recklein, 22, of St. Charles, was arrested for his role in the crash, which happened Tuesday on Highway 364. Recklein, who was seriously injured in the accident, is charged with voluntary manslaughter, second-degree felony assault and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.

Galenski was a passenger in Recklein’s car. Jared T. Nevenner, 23, of Caseyville, also died in the crash the night of the accident.
