Carlos Beltran homered again as the Cardinals extended their winning streak to a season-high four games with an 11-1 rout over the Cincinnati Reds. Beltran’s two run shot was his fifth of the season and second in two days.

Tyler Greene also had a two run homer and Rafael Furcal had four hits and drove in two runs to support winner Jaime Garcia.

The lefty is now 2-0 and allowed one run on seven hits and three walks. Not only did his offense spot him a 5-0 lead after two innings, but he did the job on the mound, inducing four double plays. Garcia even got involved in the offense with a triple off the wall in center field in the sixth that made it 7-1 and chased Mat Latos (0-2).
