Properties near Current River to receive federal funding

The federal government is setting aside almost $1 million to buy some land that will help connect some properties that already are in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. The Department of Agriculture says the consolidation of the lands will help protect watershed quality along the Current River and will benefit migratory wildlife species and area residents.
