A Callaway County man has been shot and killed by officers after pointing a gun at himself, and then at sheriff’s deputies and highway patrolmen.
Authorities say they responded to shots fired in the air at a trailer park near Fulton.
That’s when they confronted 34-year-old Tim Simpson of Williamsburg, ultimately shooting and killing him. The incident is under investigation.
