St Louis woman waiting for settlement in eminent domain case

A lawsuit against the city of St. Louis says an elderly woman who fought condemnation of her property is still waiting to be paid $1 million that the courts say she is owed and its time she got her money. The woman Opal Henderson had run a salvage yard for about 60 years before losing the property in an eminent domain case. The State Supreme Court supports her position. The proposed redevelopment of her property has never happened.
