St.Joseph man accused of domestic violence can’t marry victim.

March 28, 2012 By admin

A St. Joseph man facing serious domestic assault charges has been denied the chance to marry his victim at the courthouse. Instead, George Huffman has been sent back to jail on a $50,000 bail. The prosecutor says Huffman is a prior and persistent offender who has beaten the woman he has been living with several times. The judge in his case says Huffman can have no contact with the woman even if he is released on bail.
