Mother charged with child endangerment for leaving kids in car to gamble

March 23, 2012 By admin

The Platte County prosecutor has filed child endangerment charges against a woman accused of leaving her three children alone in a car while she gambled at the Riverside casino.  The temperature was in the 40s while the children remained in the car.  The children are nine, and eight years old and six months old.  A security guard found one of the children wandering in the parking lot.  The mother, Katrina Roades, also faces a trespassing charge because she is on the voluntary self-exclusion list, the list of people who voluntarily ban themselves from casinos.
